The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Ernie Miller
Ernie Lee Miller, 58, of Celina, Ohio, formerly of Middletown, Ohio, died Thursday afternoon, January 5, 2017, at Mercer Health in Coldwater, Ohio.
He was born October 28, 1958, the son of Ernie and Phoebe (Prichard) Miller, both who preceded him in death. Ernie had retired from General Electric in Centerville, Ohio, as General Manager. On February 20, 2010, he married Jennifer Rutledge, and she survives in Celina.
He was a member of New Start Church of God in Celina, Ohio, and was a veteran of the United States Army. Ernie enjoyed building models and also refurnishing furniture. Most of all he loved spending time with his family - his wife Jennifer, his children, and his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Jennifer, are three sons: Lee Miller and Michael Miller, both of Middletown, Ohio and Jeremy Miller of Van Wert, Ohio; and 5 grandchildren: Shyanne, Kaylynn, Michael, Ryan, and Lilly Miller. Three sisters survive: Janice and Joyce Miller, both of Middletown, Ohio, and Carol (Larry) Bowling, of Franklin, Ohio. Ernie's father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Kathy Rutledge survive in Celina, Ohio.
Deceased are two brothers, Dale and Charles Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, Ohio, with Pastor John Mobley officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, with the Eichar-De Curtins VFW Celina Post 5713 providing military graveside rites.
Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
