The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Richard Parker
Richard L. Parker age 74 of Minster died at 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Otterbein of St. Marys.
He was born on September 22, 1942 in Celina, Ohio to the late Robert & Zoe (David) Parker. He married Ann Knostman on April 24, 1965 in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. She survives in Minster.
He is also survived by children: Amy & Mark Arlinghaus, Erlanger, KY, Robert & Michelle Parker, New Bremen, Lynn & JT Barclay, Cincinnati 9 grandchildren, sister Nancy & Larry Roettger, Sidney, in-laws William & Phyllis Knostman, The Villages, FL and Richard & Mary Ann Knostman, Troy.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Robert Knostman.
He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, St. Marys. He was the former owner of Parker Motor Sales, St. Marys, retired from Honda and in retirement he was an avid golfer.
Funeral service will be held 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster with Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will take place at St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster.
Friends may call at The Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4 PM until 8 PM Wednesday June 21 and from 9 to 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 22.
The family requests donations be made to Grand Lake Hospice and Otterbein Activity Fund.
