Supporters of LGBTQ rights march in Celina

CELINA - The city was a bit more colorful on Saturday as about 300 people participated in the Small Town Pride March, waving flags and displaying signs in support of the LGBTQ community.
Despite thunderstorms earlier in the day, it didn't rain on the parade, and organizers said they were awed and humbled by the turnout. [More]

In the meantime, the Marion Local graduate is preparing to see where he stacks up against some of the competition.
Knapke will play for Mid-American Unity in The Basketball Tournament, which tips off Saturday and runs through July 14 in Columbus. The 24-team field includes a collection of former big-name college players vying for the $1-million dollar, winner-take-all prize. [More]

CELINA - Local health officials say customer indifference, vague language in state safety guidelines and lengthy administrative procedures have made it difficult to enforce COVID-19 safety measures for restaurants and other businesses.
CELINA - Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Mercer County over the weekend, bringing the county's total to 265 confirmed cases.
Three new confirmed cases were also reported in Auglaize County, raising that county's total to 91.
