* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Zachery Gerlach
Zachery W. Gerlach, age 28, of Blowing Rock, North Carolina was pronounced dead in his home last week.
He was born October 26, 1993, in Coldwater, Ohio. He was the devoted son of William Gerlach of Clayton, North Carolina and the late Valerie (Romer) Gerlach.
He was a loving brother and is survived by his sisters, Sarah (Bryan) Grooms of Kentucky, Rachel (Rob) Jackson of North Carolina and Megan Gerlach of Texas. He was a proud uncle to his nephews Evan, Lucian, Sebastian and Augustine (Sarah) and niece Victoria (Rachel), and a loyal friend to many, including his dog, Scruffy.
Zach was preceded in death by his grandparents: Cletus and Mary Romer and Bob and Elsie Gerlach.
  Zach was a student at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. He graduated in 2012 from Coldwater High School and was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. Zach was known for his enormous heart, listening ear and ability to talk for hours. He was passionate about health, fitness and yoga. He would go out of his way to put a smile on anyone's face.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial with Military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 pm on Friday and 9 to 10 am Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
