Bernice M. Huston, 91 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina.

She was born on September 16, 1931 in Celina to late James H. and Otha (Yaney) Colson. On September 16, 1950 she married Arthur Huston, who died on June 16, 1998.

She is survived by her four sons Michael Huston and James Huston both of Celina, Thomas Huston of Durham, N.C., Brad Huston of Durham, N.C., two daughters Candice Huston of Rockford, Penny Huston, four grandchildren Dennis Figley, Daniel Figley, David Figley, Kimberly Figley, and brother Elmer (Catherine) Colson of Celina.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Paulette Figley, brothers Lester Colson, Kenneth Colson, John Colson, Harlan Colson, Russell Colson, Virgil Colson, and sister April Colson.

Bernice was a homemaker her entire life. She was a member of the Celina Baptist Temple Church in Celina and a member of the Celina American Legion Auxiliary #210. She enjoyed doing crochet projects.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery in Celina.
