An arctic cold front will move through the area this afternoon and evening, bringing snow showers and much colder air. While accumulations will generally be less than one half inch, quick bursts of snow will result in reductions in visibility and slick conditions at times. Some snow squalls are possible, which could lead to locally difficult travel conditions.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana and central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 10 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Joanne Highley
Joanne M. Highley, age 86, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 9:14 am at Grand Lake Healthcare Center in St. Marys.
She was born November 27, 1937 in Celina to the late Lloyd and Lillian (Juette) Craft. On September 9, 1956 she married Paul Highley and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2008.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Highley, Coldwater; Dave (Judy) Highley, St. Marys; and Bevan (Sara) Highley, Celina; a daughter, Marcia Highley, Pennville, Indiana; a half-brother, Jim Getman; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Highley; and a grandson, Josh Highley.
Joanne was a 1955 graduate of Celina High School. She retired after working for 35 years at Shane Hill Nursing Home in Rockford. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Celina and Grand Lake Riding Club. Joanne enjoyed riding horses, sewing, camping, playing piano, telling a good joke and most of all spending time with her family.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Matt Overman officiating; where the family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. before the service. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina; where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband of Paul Highley.
