Cadets hear words of wisdom

CELINA - Mercer County's next sheriff offered some hard-earned wisdom from his 30-plus years in law enforcement to help 11 cadets begin their careers on the right foot.
Chief Deputy Douglas Timmerman, who is running unopposed for sheriff in this year's election cycle, was the keynote speaker at Wright State University-Lake Campus Police Academy's graduation ceremony on Monday night at the James F. Dicke Hall. [More]

System would fill gap in services
ST. HENRY - Village councilors on Monday heard first reading of legislation to authorize a lease agreement with a Kentucky company wanting to install a radar system in St. Henry.
