Marie R. Moorman, age 91, of St. Henry, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.

She was born February 2, 1933, in Osgood to the late Fred & Agnes (Heitkamp) Bruns. On June 13, 1957, in Osgood, she married Thomas F. Moorman, and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2019.

Marie is survived by children, Joyce & Dave Barga of St. Henry, Elaine & Kurt Bohman of Versailles, and Daniel Moorman of Greenville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Brad & Jennifer Barga, Dale & Beth Barga, Jessica & Patrick Schmackers, Brian & Lexi Bohman, Brittany Bohman, Kyle & Laura Bohman, Skyler Leugers, and Elise Moorman, 14 great grandchildren, as well as a sister, Irene Lochtefeld, and in-laws, Helen Umphrey, John Henry Moorman, Marjorie & Roger Stachler, Edward & Teresa Moorman, Rebecca Moorman.

Marie is preceded in death by an infant son Ronald, a great grandchild Louise Bohman, as well as siblings and in-laws, Sylvina & Linus Poeppelman, Alma & Ralph Grilliot, Emerita & Ed Boerger, Lawrence & Mary Bruns, Web & Carolyn Bruns, Joann & Greg Luebke, Art Lochtefeld, Gerald & Eloise Moorman, Cletus & Jean Moorman, Ruth & Harold Willmann, Robert Moorman, Frank Umphrey, and her father and mother-in-law, William & Irene Moorman.

Marie was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, and the Daughters of Isabella. She worked alongside her husband Tom on their family farm. She and Tom enjoyed square dancing and were members of the St. Marys Tri-Square Square-Dancing Club.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday, January 24, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
