Winds will mainly be out of the south early this morning, before switching to the west during the late morning and early afternoon.

Kenneth Homan
Kenneth Robert Homan, age 67, of New Bremen, Ohio, died on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Mercy Health Lima, Ohio.
He was born on February 10, 1958 to the late Harold & Rose Mary (Abels) Homan.
He is survived by brother and spouse Mike & Elaine Homan, New Bremen, sisters and their spouses: Ed & Anita Sextro, New Bremen, Russell & Donna Haley, Tipp City, Jan Puthoff and friend Joe Pecharich, Celina, Robert & Doris Goubeaux, Versailles, nephew John & Heather Homan and their children Candace, Caden, Cierra and Carter were his caregivers for 26 years.
He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In his early years he attended the ABC Center, and he then worked at Auglaize Industries and went to Capabilities in St. Marys. Ken enjoyed drinking coffee, eating sweets, listening to the Alabama Band, as well as watching MASH, Dukes of Hazzard, Andy Griffith, Kojak and wrestling from the 1970s and 1980s. He was proud of his toy farm equipment. He liked looking at books and magazines of actors, actresses, and tractors as well as spending time with the family dogs and going on family vacations.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Monday, January 12, 2026 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw. Burial will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 1 to 4 PM and on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Auglaize Industries and Capabilities St. Marys.
