Chad Rindler
Chad R. Rindler, age 29, of Rossburg, died on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
Chad was born September 3, 1996, in Coldwater, to Christie (Gehron) Rindler and the late William J. "Bill" Rindler. Chad is survived by his sister, Kelli Simpkins of Jacksonville, FL, and brother, William D. Rindler of Troy.
Extended family members surviving Chad are his aunts and uncles: Denise Ahrns of Ft. Loramie; Randy & Deb Rindler of Troy; Curt & Patti Rindler of McCartyville; Karen & Frank Goffena of St. Marys; Tony & Sandy Rindler of Montezuma; Jacqui & Steve Lehmkuhl of Troy; Gina & Randall Lowe of Piqua; Tom & Lisa Rindler of Tipp City; Mike & Christine Gehron of Vandalia; Deb Stewart of Rossburg; and Annette Shroyer of Willshire; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Chad's family would also like to recognize Chad's special friends who have been by his side like family: Tim & Kasey Foreman, Talon Cotterman, Max Stachler, and Chad's godson, Vincent Foreman.
In addition to his father, Chad was preceded in death by his uncles Louis Ahrns and Jack Stewart, as well as his grandparents, Willard & Karen Gehron, and William "Sonny" & Benita Rindler.
Chad was a graduate of Versailles High School. He had a passion for the great outdoors and loved hiking, fishing, kayaking, and exploring National Parks. He was intrigued with all kinds of aquatic life and amphibians. Chad also greatly enjoyed movies, Futurama, and anime, as well as gaming and talking with his friends online.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 10, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. A Celebration of Chad's Life will follow at the St. Henry Legion. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
