The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Central Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 745 PM EDT.
* At 611 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain
stationary over Mercer County including the city of Celina. 1.50
inches of rain was measured in 30 minutes by a rain gauge on the
west side of Celina.
* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.
Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Neptune,
Carthagena, Tama and Maria Stein.

At 601 PM EDT, radar indicated a strong thunderstorm over Celina,
moving northeast at 5 mph.
STORM HAZARDS INCLUDE...
Winds to 45 mph...
Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning...
Very heavy rain...
Locations impacted include...
Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, Rockford, New Knoxville, Moulton,
Mendon, Buckland, Montezuma, Kossuth, Tama, Neptune, State Route 116
at State Route 197 and Bulkhead.
Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning
threatens. Move indoors when a thunderstorm approaches.
Water will pond on roads and may quickly fill roadside ditches and
