Lois George
Lois George, 65, 6901 Dutton Road, Mendon, died April 26, 2008 at her residence. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Jan. 20, 1943, in Carbon Glow, Ky., to Benjamin and Frances Elizabeth "Sally" Patton Miller. On Jan. 31, 1970, she married William G. George, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, William G. Jr., and Eric (Nikki), all of Rockford, and C. Thomas (Teena), Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Heidi (Marshall) Brehm, Rockford; seven brothers, Bill (Darlene) Miller, Lima, Charles (Sharon) Miller and Maurice (April) Miller, Middle Point, Mark Miller, San Francisco, Calif., Jack (Robin) Miller, Convoy, Kenneth (Cheryl) Miller, Van Wert, and Paul (Dora) Miller, Auburn, Ind.; three sisters, Narcie Maus, Elida, Angie (Gary) Becker, Celina, and Sandy (Raymond) Pangle, Elida; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Mabel George and Ellen Miller, who died in infancy; and a halfbrother, Harry Burns.
She was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. She was a member of the Mendon First Church of God and a 1961 graduate of Spencerville High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Glenn Masser officiating. Burial is at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
