Charles Rockwood Jr.
Charles L. Rockwood Jr., 62, of Mentor, died at 12:55 a.m. April 24, 2008, at the Cleveland Veterans Administration Medical Center. Death was due to congestive heart failure.
He was born May 5, 1945, in Cleveland, to Charles and Everlyn Gorski Rockwood. His mother survives in Cleveland. Also surviving is a stepmother, Patricia Wilkey, Fort Recovery.
Other survivors are two sons, Charlie, of California, and Kenneth Edward, of Cleveland; a daughter, Selina; three half brothers, Jim Rockwood, Portland, Ind., Michael Rockwood, Greenville, and Russell Maxwell, Hiram; two half sisters, Lisa Gillea, Celina, and Diana Ramizera, Fort Recovery; and two grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Kenneth E. Rockwood.
A memorial service and calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Zele Funeral Home, Cleveland. Burial is at a later date.
