Raymond Rush
Raymond A. Rush, 64, 1730 Celina Road, St. Marys, died at 5 p.m. Oct. 11, 2008, at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Nov. 26, 1943, in St. Marys, to Roy and Ileen Blumenherst Rush. His mother survives in St. Marys. On Aug. 27, 1966, he married Diann Campbell, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Joseph, St. Marys; a sister, Sharon (John) Potter, Miamisburg; and a brother-in-law, James (Lareen) Houts, Zephyr Hills, Fla.
Deceased is a sister-in-law, Lynn Sharp.
He retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, after 35 years service. He was a member of the American Legion, St. Marys, a graduate of New Bremen High School in 1961, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Harold Liess officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
