Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Max Prichard
Max A. Prichard, 72, of 1422 Oakland Court, St. Marys, died at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 10, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Sept. 8, 1937, in Van Wert to Charles and Flossie (Miller) Prichard. On March 13, 1993, he married Diana S. Huston-Koenig, who survives.
Other survivors are three daughters, Dawn McPheron, Wapakoneta, Angela (Tony) Storer, St. Marys, and Joy (Lynn) Prichard, Wapakoneta; two step-daughters, Michelle (Jesse) Dillon, New Knoxville, and Sue (Ron) Luthman, St. Marys; a step-son, John (Denise) Koening, Bristol, Wis.; three sisters, Viola Sheets, Van Wert, Janet Sawmiller, St. Marys, and Princess Echman, Versailles; 10 grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, James, Homer, Ned and Charles Prichard; and four sisters, Olive Cashel, Betty Prichard, Sylvia Thatcher and Alice Imler.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired production employee for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, and attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Service, St. Marys, the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray and Al Baker officiating. Burial with graveside military rites will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
