St. Marys opened up its girls soccer season in fine style as goalkeeper Paige Dicus held St. John's scoreless and the Roughriders took a 4-0 win over the Blue Jays in Delphos.

It hasn't been easy, but Cisco has seen signs that the Roughriders are on the rise.
CELINA - The Celina golf teams have had some ups and downs already this season, and the concentration for both Bulldog coaches is to strive for consistency.
COLDWATER - Both the Coldwater boys and girls golf teams will be forced to work with limited numbers of players this season.
Veteran boys coach Jack Mescher has six golfers he'll rely on with a junior varsity group in the wings.
FORT RECOVERY - With a nice group of 14 golfers to work with, Fort Recovery veteran golf coach Brad Evers is optimistic about improving the program.
MARIA STEIN - The golf teams at Marion Local are pretty well set from a numbers perspective, but both will look to replace a lot of experience from a year ago.
MINSTER - Inside the Minster Middle School Gymnasium, there are two dozen state championship banners that hang commemorating the school's rich tradition.
NEW BREMEN - The golf season has gotten underway for the New Bremen golf teams and both Cardinals coaches welcome back some experience.
Cardinals boys coach Doug McNaughton has plenty of experience from last year's third-place showing at the Midwest Athletic Conference tournament.
Both Parkway golf coaches have reason to be optimistic as experienced golfers provide the Panthers with a strong foundation for success this season.

The Bulldogs have lost just one Western Buckeye League dual match in three years and the Green and White celebrated its third league championship last season.
