Leonard Homan
Leonard H. Homan, 94, Coldwater, died Oct. 1, 2010, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 25, 1916, in Coldwater to Frank and Philomena Kessen Homan. On Sept. 26, 1955, he married Mildred Stoll, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are four children, Karen Homan, Charlotte, N.C., and Carl, Neal and Earl Homan, all of Coldwater.
Deceased are eight siblings, Agnes Homan, Al Homan, Ed Homan, Emma Retzmer, Mary Ann Gerlach, Werner Homan, Catherine Bergman and Dorothy Benoit.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. He also was a member of Eagles 3025 and the American Legion, both of Coldwater. He was a Purple Heart recipient during World War II.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
