TIPP CITY - For 36 minutes the New Knoxville and Tri-Village girls' basketball teams battled as if it were a 15-round prize fight.

Fort Recovery's Wade Gelhaus was the Grand Lake area's biggest winner after the northwest district released its all-district honors on Thursday.
Gelhaus, the Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year, was named Co-Player of the Year in Division IV after leading the Indians to a 21-2 record.
