Albert Sutter
Albert H. Sutter, 72, Mendon, passed away Feb. 27, 2013, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born Oct. 12, 1940, in Coldwater to Albert and Rosina Buschor Sutter. On Jan. 2, 1985, he married Lana Carpenter, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Daniel Sutter, Portland, Ind., and Stanley (Jenny) Sutter, St. Henry; a daughter, Denise (Bill) Brembeck, Dublin; a stepdaughter, Holli (Lonnie) Enderud, St. Marys; eight grandchildren, Bridget and Nicholas Fanning, Allan and Grant Broyles, Michael Brembeck and Olivia, Brent and Erica Sutter; two great-grandchildren, Lilleigh Sampson and Grace Broyles; and eight brothers and sisters, Jerry (Pat) Sutter, Celina, Joe (Beverly) Sutter, Brookings, Ore., Dolores Cosgrove, Wapakoneta, Pat (Hank) Beyke, Franklin, Tenn., Mary Duwelling, El Cajon, Calif., Theresa (Bernie) Gero, Syracuse, N.Y., and Jeannie (Sylvan) Jutte, St. Henry.
He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Donita Coil; his parents; and three brothers and a sister, Ernie, Herb and Cyril Sutter and Rita Noll.
He was a graduate of Coldwater High School. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served from 1961 to 1964, having been stationed in South Korea. He was a member of Mendon United Methodist Church. He had worked at New Idea, Coldwater, and retired from Minster Machine.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Don Clinger officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon.
