Ruth Mosier
Ruth M. (Schoenleben) Mosier, 70, died peacefully on March 10, 2015, at her daughter's home in Grove City after a battle with lung cancer.
She was born Aug. 30, 1944, in Dayton, the daughter of William and Marie (Young) Schoenleben, who are deceased. She married Ralph E. Mosier on Dec. 24, 1964. They were together for 19 years with their marriage ending in divorce in 1983. Neither remarried. He is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Connie J. (Scott) Stover, Grove City; two stepdaughters, Joyce Clay, Van Wert, and Linda Kendall, Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Glen (Phyllis) Schoenleben and Bud (Patty) Schoenleben; a sister-in-law, Ruth (Blankenship) Schoenleben; grandchildren, Whitney Stover, Cincinnati, Nathan Stover, Andrew Stover, Aaron Stover and Emily Stover; stepgrandchildren, Shawn (Candy) Clay and Kevin Clay, all of Van Wert, Nicholas (Kristi) Kendall, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Shannon (Eric) Goody, Fort Polk, La.; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

Ruth worked for Teleflex Inc. from Sept. 9, 1971 to June 16, 2000, at which time she moved to Meridian, Miss., to do missionary work. While in Mississippi, she worked for Sara Lee Bakery. She then moved to Findlay and worked for McDonald's Restaurant.
She later moved to Canal Winchester, where she worked as a special needs caregiver with Titus House. This was a job she was very passionate about, and she showed her love and compassion for others every day until her illness forced her to take a permanent leave of absence.
She battled cancer with a lot of prayer and chemotherapy and eventually moved to Grove City to live with her daughter, with the care of OhioHealth Hospice. Her last move was to Heaven, where she will meet her mother for the first time and be with Jesus for eternity.
Prior to her illness, she enjoyed riding her bike, taking walks, reading, crocheting with yarn and spending time with her grandchildren. Ruth was a born-again Christian and was very strong in her faith. She was a member and deacon of Columbus Christian Center, Columbus. Her message to everyone she has left behind is "Be kind to people, because you never know what they've been through or what they're about to go through."
