CELINA - City council members droned on for well over an hour during Monday night's committee and regular meetings, debating proposed limits on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in town. [More]
NEW BREMEN - Change orders abounded at Monday's village council meeting, totaling $100,215 in additional work on the Komminsk Legacy Park.
Four change orders to three different contracts were approved as emergency measures. A purchase order was also approved.

CELINA - City officials are asking voters to allow funds from a 0.5 percent additional income tax for police and fire services also to be used for much-needed street repairs.
ST. MARYS - City officials congratulated police officers for their dogged efforts to finally solve the Marcellus Reineke murder case.
Officers pursued the case for 34 years - from Oct. 13, 1981, when Reineke was killed in a burglary, until Sept. 10, when the final suspect was sentenced.
ST. MARYS - A local man this morning was listed in fair condition after a motorcycle accident Sunday evening on state Route 364 near Waesch Road in Auglaize County.
COLDWATER - Village council members at Monday night's meeting heard first reading of an ordinance accepting plans to add 20 homes in the northwestern part of town.
ROCKFORD - Police officials are offering a $250 reward for information about several vehicle break-ins Sunday afternoon.
The crimes reportedly took place between 3:30-5 p.m. at Shanes Park and remain under investigation.
MARIA STEIN -   Marion Local Schools Board of Education members at Monday night's meeting received a positive report on the district's finances.

Before they went their own ways after graduation, last year's state-qualifying golfers from St. Marys, Carter Bowman and Colin Burke, predicted a bright future for once teammate Jill Schmitmeyer.
