Karl Shoffstall Sr.
Karl O. Shoffstall Sr., age 76, of Celina, Ohio, pass away on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
He was born June 27, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Karl W. and Lulu (Baughn) Shoffstall.
He is survived by his second wife, Susan Christine (Hague) Shoffstall, Celina, Ohio, they married on April 5, 2014; three sons, Karl (Eva) Shoffstall, Culver, Indiana, Todd (Sharon) Shoffstall, Arcanum, Ohio, and Mathew (Marcia) Shoffstall, Celina, Ohio; nine step children, Liz (Jeff) Obringer, New Bremen, Melissa Burk, Celina, Ohio, Kevin (Debbie) Hague, Rockford Ohio, David (Angie) Hague, Mendon, Ohio, Tim (Christy) Hague, Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeremy (Cindy) Hague, Ft. Recovery, Ohio, Katie Hague, Celina, Ohio, Dakota Hague, Celina, Ohio, and John (Jessica) Hague, Rockford, Ohio; a father-in-law, Homer Sparks, St. Marys, Ohio; four sister-in-law's, Virginia PaHud and Barbara H. PaHud, both of Indiana, Julia (Dave) Brewer, St. Marys, Ohio, and Margie Sparks, Kentucky; two brother-in-law, John (Cindy) PaHud, Florida, John (Tonya) Sparks, St. Marys, Ohio; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and twenty-two, step grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Gretchen (PaHud) Shoffstall on July 2, 2013, they married on September 27, 1958; and four brother-in-law's, Lewis PaHud and Mike PaHud, James and Jerry Sparks.
Karl was graduated from Wilbur Wright High School, Dayton, Ohio. He served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Karl had many hobbies and especially enjoyed bowling and fishing. He was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Church, Celina, Ohio, Mercer County Sportsman, and USBC Bowling Association, Coldwater, Ohio.
Visitation hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Friday morning in the Lighthouse Fellowship Church, 817 N. Sugar St., Celina, Ohio 45822, with Pastor Tony Richmond officiating; the family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, Ohio; where military honors will be provided by the Celina American Legion Post 210 and Celina VFW Post 5713.
