* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional storms will move into the area after midnight, persisting through late Friday morning. Heavy rain can be expected with these storms, with the risk of flash flooding increasing with storms that repeatedly move over the same locations.

Robert Smith
Robert W. Smith, 75, formerly of Piqua, more recently of Celina, passed away at 5:27 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at St. Rita Medical Center, Lima.
He was born August 1, 1942 in Piqua to the late Clarence and Edith (Wills) Smith. He married Karen Sue Herron August 23, 1960 in Bradford, and she survives.
Other survivors include four children, Bill (Rhonda) Smith, Kelly (John) Wolffram, Caroline (Tony) Grissom, Erick (Ingrid) Smith; twenty grandchildren, Chad & Alisha, Nick & Chelsea, Vanessa & Nathan, Johnny, Jacobb & Betsey, Gregg & Abbie, Anthony, Leanna & Eli, Nickolas, Lillian, Jacob, Payton, Lukas, Danica; ten great grandchildren, Abriana, Gideon, Ethan, Madison, Julia, Annabell, Gabe, Zoey, Amelia, Elliot; and a sister, Phyllis Kennedy of Fairborn.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Mr. Smith retired as a concrete construction worker following many years of quality workmanship in the area. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, woodworking and shooting pool. He loved his wife and family and will be deeply missed by them and his friends.
A private service to honor his life will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
