ST. MARYS - Hitachi Metals, parent company of AAP St. Marys Corp., plans to sell the aluminum wheel manufacturing company to Kosei Aluminum of Japan, an AAP employee confirmed to the newspaper on Wednesday.
A Hitachi Metals spokesperson told the newspaper the sale is expected to occur March 1. Company officials have been considering selling the St. Marys facility for six months. The business will continue to be operational and no employee layoffs are expected. [More]

While he was there, the St. Henry lineman sold himself as a football player to the Ball State coaching staff.
