Marilyn Gray
Marilyn J. Gray, age 88, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at her residence in Celina.
She was born July 29, 1931 in Fort Recovery, Ohio to the late Roman and Josephine (Handfelder) Wenning. On June 4, 1949 she married Joseph Gray and he preceded her in death on October 26, 1975.
Survivors include her children, Mary Jo (Peter) Cooper, New Jersey, Jacqueline Mihm, Celina, Joseph (Jovetta) Gray, Celina, Pamela (John) Nagy, Celina, Craig (Nancy) Gray, Celina, Mathew Gray, Celina and Christina Gray, Celina; 14 grandchildren, Aaron, Ryan, Leah, Angie, Ben, Abby, Shannon, Josh, John, Adam, Sofia, Cori, Kacie and Monica; 23 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Eugene Mihm; and brothers and sisters, Don Wenning, Barb Kruse, Joann Leonard, Betty Wenning, Patricia Wenning, Ruth Wenning, and Robert Wenning.
Marilyn was a 1947 graduate from Immaculate Conception High School. She retired from Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina after 20 years of service.
She was a devout member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend who always put her family first. Marilyn loved listening to music, watching the Cleveland Brown, cooking and spending time with her friends from TOPS.
Visitation hours will take place from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina.
Due to the National Health Concerns of COVID-19, a private family Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina with Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S., officiating. Friends are invited to view the Mass of Christian Burial live on the Immaculate Conception website, celina-ic.org. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
