Jean Shape
Jean AnnaLee (Bollenbacher) Shape, age 92 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
She was born on June 20, 1929 in Shelby County, Ohio to the late Ernest William and Mabel (Howell) Bollenbacher. On August 29, 1947 she married Russell C. Shape, who passed away January 15, 1986.
Jean is survived by her two daughters Diana (Shape) Gudeman of Wheatfield, IN, Constance (David) Weitzel of Celina, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, brother Darrell (Dar) Bollenbacher of Celina, sisters Carol (Charlie) Kirk of Coldwater, and sister-in-law Linda Bollenbacher of Celina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son David R. Shape, sister Janet (Evan) Penrod, and brother Larry Bollenbacher.
She was an avid music lover and played steel guitar for the "Smoothies Orchestra" for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Chris Riffle officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Friends may call an hour before services at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
