Constance Winner
Constance L. "Connie" Monnin Winner age 82 of Osgood, Ohio, died at 8:10 AM on August 15, 2022.
She was born on October 12, 1939 in New Weston, Ohio to the late Raymond & Elizabeth (Couchot) Liette.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ernest Monnin on April 28, 1979, and by her second husband Urban Winner on June 10, 2020.
She is survived by her children: Julie & Jim Poeppelman, Versailles, Jenni & Bob Paulus, Versailles, Matt & Darlene Monnin, Russia, Amy & Gary Moeller, New Bremen, Anne & Tim Carlisle, Carlisle, Sharon & William Wynk, Coldwater, Stacy & Steven Mollmann, Upper Arlington, son-in-law Robert Leugers, New Bremen, 23 grandchildren 38 great grandchildren, brothers & sisters: Ralph Liette, Chickasaw, Judy & John Knight, Virginia, Bob & Edna Stout, Coldwater, in-laws: Madonna Liette, North Star, Mary Ann Simon, Versailles, Dave & Sandy Monnin, Sidney, Tom & Henrietta Winner, Osgood, Ken & Beverly Winner, Osgood, and Karen & Ronald Schwieterman, Celina.
She was preceded in death by daughter Sandra (Winner) Leugers, brothers & sisters: Ruth & Charles Heistand, Norma & Art Rammel, Dolores Redinbaugh, Helen Stout, Lowell Liette, Charles & Suzanne Gilliland, in-laws: Ella Mae Liette, Delmar & Evelyn Monnin, Bud & Rosella Monnin, Wilson & Violet Monnin, Margaret & Curt Baltes, Norma & Bob Moore, Gertrude & Jacob (Art) Martin, Lillian & Tim Berger, Cecil Monnin, Stanley Monnin, Marcie & Bill Dunkel, Vernon & Agnes Winner, and Ralph & Elsie Winner.
Connie retired as a loan officer from the Versailles Savings and Loan. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, where she was a former choir director, Eucharistic Minister and a lector. She also served on the Osgood Village Council. Connie loved to stay busy and was an avid reader, seamstress and gardener. She also loved to play golf, cards and watch the Cincinnati Reds. She loved making homemade gifts for friends and family and will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren for the blankets she crocheted for them.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia. Burial will follow in St. Remy Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 2 to 7 PM on Friday, August 19, and from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday.
