Elm Street Reconstruction
Bids for the Elm Street Reconstruction project will be received by the Village of Fort Recovery at the Village Hall, 201 S. Main Street, Fort Recovery, Ohio 45846, until Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: The reconstruction and extension of Elm Street from Butler Street to Broadway Street The project construction will consist of replacing and extending pavement, curb, curb ramps, sidewalk, and storm sewer as needed for the length of the project limit.
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found and downloaded at the following website: choiceoneengineering.com/projects-out-for-bid. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office of Choice One.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.
Bidder must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Mercer County and the Village of Fort Recovery, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Celina will receive sealed bids for the 2020 Street Resurfacing Project.
Bids will be received at the office of the City of Celina, 225 N. Main Street, Celina, Ohio, until 11:00 a.m. August 13th, 2020, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after 11:00 a.m. will be returned unopened.
Bids will be received on a unit price as outlined In the bid documents.
The project includes the planning and resurfacing of various streets within the city.
Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms Included in the Bidding Documents, sealed in the provided envelope. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid.
Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons Interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than June 30, 2021.

The Bidding Documents, which include Maps, Specifications and blank bid forms, may be examined and obtained at the Office of Access Engineering Solutions, LLC, 1200 Irmscher Boulevard, Suite 8, Celina, Ohio, 45822. Bidders may obtain copies of the documents for $30.00 for each complete set of documents. These documents will be shipped at the Bidder's expense for an additional $15.00 shipping fee. Non-refundable checks are to be payable to Access Engineering Solutions, LLC. BIDS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM BIDDERS LISTED ON THE ENGINEER'S OFFICIAL LIST OF PLAN HOLDERS.
The Owner reserves the right to reject each and every bid and to waive informalities, irregularities and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
