Five people were injured when two vehicles collided head on in the 7000 block of state Route 219 near Montezuma. The mishap occurred at 6:27 p.m. Sunday, according to Mercer County Sheriff's Office reports.
The widening and reconstruction of Grand Lake Road is ahead of schedule and the street should be reopened to traffic by the end of October.
