The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

James Glass
James A. Glass, 71, 204 Mercer Street, Celina, died Nov. 17, 2007, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 1, 1936, in Celina, to Robert and Mary Margaret Silvers Glass. On Oct. 25, 1957, he married Doris C. Eschenbrunner, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Dennis, Celina; two daughters, Catherine (Bill) McAllister, Fostoria, and Cynthia Randolph, Celina; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are two half sisters, Rita Craft and JoAnn Smith.
He retired as a production worker at the former Avco-New Idea Corp., Coldwater, where he worked in the machine shop. He was a 1954 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and attended Bowling Green State University. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Celina, where he served as an elder, deacon and custodian. He was a high school referee for 25 years.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Dave Dennis officiating. A private burial service will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the carpet fund at the church.
