Beverlyanne Moorman
Beverlyanne Moorman, 84, of rural Mendon, passed away shortly after 3 PM Sunday, August 4, 2019 in the Joint Twp. District Hospital in St. Marys with her family at her side, following a short illness.
She was born June 17, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Walter Francis and Shirley Fursdon Hausman McDaniel. On February 17, 1957 she married Guy Richard Moorman, who died July 8, 1991.
Surviving are five sons; John W. (Sherri Johnson) Moorman of Lima; Richard E. (Teresa) Moorman of Celina; Mark A. Moorman and Michael D. (Angie) Moorman, both of Mendon and Bruce W. (Lois) Moorman of Spencerville; seven grandchildren; Nichole (Brian) Moorman of St. Marys; Sarah (Justin) Holman and Philip (Jocelyn Henning) Moorman, both of Celina; Brandon (Mikayla Stetler) Moorman of Celina; Jeremy (Angel) Moorman of Spencerville; Joshua (Brittany Bolinger) Moorman of Kossuth and Chad (Tameria) Boise of Dayton; 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and her sister; Shirleyanne (Joseph) Schaadt of Branson, MO.
Beverlyanne was a 1953 graduate of the Convoy Union High School and worked as a telephone operator for local phone companies, then as a homemaker, she worked with her husband on their dairy farm and had worked as a waitress. She was a member of the Monticello United Brethren in Christ Church.
Her true love was being with her family and her lifelong fondness for horses for her boys and herself. She was a seamstress for her family and enjoyed knitting and crocheting, having made many afghans for the family.
Private family funeral services were held 1 PM Wednesday, August 7th in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial followed in the Hartford Cemetery, North East of Spencerville.
Preferred memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn. or the American Cancer Society in care of the Bayliff Funeral Home, 728 East Fourth Street, Spencerville, Ohio 45887.
