Fort Recovery battles to defeat Parkway for first victory

FORT RECOVERY - After three tough losses to start the season, Fort Recovery was looking for a boost in its Midwest Athletic Conference boys basketball opener Friday night against Parkway.
The Indians rode several waves as the battle came down to the fourth quarter. A Breaker Jutte bucket with just under 21/2 minutes to play gave the Indians the lead they needed with clutch defense and free throws giving the Indians a 53-48 win at Fort Site Fieldhouse. [More]

MINSTER- A Celina man was charged this week in Auglaize County Municipal Court with practicing medicine without a license after the suspicious death of his relative at The Heritage Center, according to a news release from the Minster Police Department.
ST. MARYS- The St. Marys football stadium will soon undergo multiple upgrades.
School board members this week awarded a $650,000 contract to UDC Sports of North Carolina to replace the turf at the football stadium.
