Betty Kaup

Betty J. Kaup, 84, 402 W. Vine St., Coldwater, died at 5 a.m. March 15, 2009, at her residence.

She was born May 2, 1924, in Celina, to Louis and Cecil Kiser Hauck. On Aug. 9. 1941, she married Urban A. Kaup, who died Feb. 16, 1987.

Surviving are three children, Urban (Mary Ann) Kaup, Coldwater, and Kathy (Mark) Fullenkamp and Judy (Andrew) Fiely, all of St. Henry; a son-in-law, Richard McCrate, Wapakoneta;two sisters-in-law, Mary Kaup, Celina, and Mary Margaret Kaup, Coldwater; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two daughters, Susan Stachler and Carolyn McCrate; and two brothers, Lewis and Bill Hauck.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.

Contributions can be made to the State of the Heart Hospice, Coldwater, or Holy Trinity Food Pantry.
