Helen Wietholter
Helen C. Wietholter, 96, a resident of the Covington Care Center, Covington, but formerly of St. Marys and Piqua, died at 10:10 a.m. March 13, 2009, at the Covington Care Center.
She was born Aug.29, 1912, near Kettlersville in Shelby County to August and Lillie Dickman Egbert. On Oct. 22, 1931, she married William Wietholter, who died Feb. 26, 1991.
Surviving are three children: Evelyn (Roger) Eymer of Bluffton, Ind.; Marcella (Robert) Puterbaugh, Tipp City; and Robert Wietholter, Westfield, Ind.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Pauline Bushman; a son-in-law, James Hirschfeld; and a daughter-in-law, Deanna Hirschfeld.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys, and a fifty-year member of the First United Church of Christ, Piqua.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray, officiating. Burial is at Willow Grove Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
