* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Oscar Bergman
Oscar Bergman, 79, 47 Washington St., Minster, died at 2:50 p.m. Sept. 8, 2009, at his residence.
He was born March 22, 1930, in Newport to Frank and Frances Broerman Bergman. On Oct 8, 1955, he married Barbara Grogean, who died July 18, 1998.
Surviving are his children, Randy (Donna) Bergman, Minster, Nick (Ann) Bergman, Piqua, Greg (Lizzy) Bergman, Sidney, Sandy (John) Couch, Houston, Jill (Steve) McEldowney, Minster; and 13 grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Bergman, siblings, Melvin Bergman, Edward Bergman and Mildred Barlage.
He retired from Stolle Corporation, Sidney in 1991 and worked part-time for the Village of Minster. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the American Legion, both in Minster. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. serving in the Korean War.
Funeral Mass is 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery with full military honors by the Minster Firing Squad.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
