* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Mary Gonya
Mary E. Gonya, 86, formerly of Rawson Ave., Fremont, died at 12:18 p.m. Sept. 8, 2009, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
She was born July 11, 1923, in St. Henry, to Louis and Elizabeth Kramer Uhlenhake. On June 25, 1977, she married Irvin Gonya, who died April 21, 1992.
Surviving are four stepsons, Eugene Gonya, San Diego, Calif., David Gonya, Columbus, Gary Gonya, New York City, and Daniel Gonya, Tiffin; a stepdaughter, Mary Gabourel, Belize, Central America; a brother, Carl (Martina) Uhlenhake, St. Henry; a sister, Bernadette Hasenkamp, Delphos; and seven stepgrandchildren.
She was a sister at the New Riegel Convent for 30 years and later a homemaker and did domestic work. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, where she served as Eucharistic Minister for many years, and was past president of the Marian Society. She and her husband organized the First October Fest in Fremont.
Funeral Mass is 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Home Chapel, Tiffin, the Rev. Frank Murd officiating. Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont.
Calling is 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday at the Chapel of St. Francis.
Contributions can be made to St. Francis Senior Ministries in care of St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
