Christine R. Moore, 83, Celina, died at 11:34 p.m. July 23, 2011, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.

She was born Sept. 22, 1927, in Princeton, W.V., to Milby and Lucy Baker Raines. On Dec. 27, 1946, she married Merle D. Moore, who died Jan. 12, 2006.

Survivors include five daughters, Bonnie Moore, Celina, Beverly (Steve) Baucher, Columbus, Barbara (Phil) Purtee, West Chester, Brenda (Dale) Eckard, Hilliard, Beth (Mike) Gillum, Coldwater; a sister, Mildred Simpkins of Virginia; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son, Merle Dana Moore Jr., and five sisters Pauline, Hazel, Helen, Mary and Elizabeth.

She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Celina. A homemaker, she volunteered at church and various community organizations.

Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.

Calling is 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
