ST. MARYS - With Halloween just a few weeks away, an area service committee is dusting off their bony decorative skeletons, fake blood and spine-tingling spooky music to create a haunted house attraction at the former armory.

Rockford library levy on fall election ballot

ROCKFORD - Voters in Rockford, Dublin Township, Hopewell Township, Liberty Township and Blackcreek Township will decide the fate of a five-year, 1-mill renewal levy for the Rockford Carnegie Public Library on the Nov. 5 general election ballot.
The levy would generate $79,000 annually and cost the owner of a $100,000 home $15 a year, according to ballot language. [More]

Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin counties

Voters will decide the fate of a 10-year, 0.5-mill renewal tax levy for the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin counties on the Nov. 5 general election ballot.
The levy will collect $1.7 million annually and cost the owner of a $100,000 home $10 a year, according to ballot language. [More]
