Marcella Lange
Marcella M. "Sally" Lange, age 104, of Celina, passed away peacefully at Gardens of St. Henry on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
She was born on October 17, 1920, in St. Rose, Ohio, to the late John and Mary (Uhlenhake) Leugers. On January 28, 1956, Sally married the love of her life, Elmer Lange, who preceded her in death on January 21, 2007.
Sally is survived by her children, William (Beth) Lange of Hamilton, Ohio, Dorothy (Alan) Meade of Fairborn, Ohio, Dale (Linda) Lange of Beavercreek, Ohio, and James (Kim) Lange of Xenia, Ohio. She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Sally was preceded in death by a grandson, four sisters-Hilda, Mary Catherine, Ludvina, and Agatha Leugers-and a brother and sister-in-law, Othmar (Viola) Leugers.
A proud graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic High School in Celina, Sally dedicated her life to her family as a loving homemaker. She was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, where she was known for her unwavering faith and commitment to those she loved.
Sally will be remembered for her warm and generous spirit, as well as her immense love for her family. She touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness, compassion, and a boundless heart. Her legacy of love and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Prashanth Bandanadham officiating.
Prior to the service, the family will welcome friends for visitation at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Following the Mass, Sally will be laid to rest at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Endowment Fund.
