Pauline D. Deerhake, 84, Sun City West, Ariz., died at 10:19 p.m. Nov. 22, 2012, in Sun City.

She was born Dec. 6, 1927, in Wapakoneta to Joseph and Daisy Beeler Howard. On May 10, 1947, she married Reuben Deerhake, who survives.

Deceased are five brothers and two sisters.

She graduated in 1946 from Blume High School, Wapakoneta. She retired from the University of Rochester, where she had worked as business manager for the chemistry department. She belonged to First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Dr. David Williams officiant. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.

Calling is 1-2 p.m. Friday at the Heritage Room of the church.
