Search locates drugs in car parked by Celina schools

K-9 Units from Celina and area law enforcement offices found no drugs or alcohol on school property during a training sweep of two Celina school buildings and parking lots this morning. However, an arrest is pending after a substance was found on a vehicle parked adjacent to school grounds. [More]

ELIDA - There have been times this season where the Celina offense has been downright miserable.
Saturday wasn't one of those days.
Celina belted out 12 hits, drew 10 walks and had multiple baserunners on base all game long in an 11-1 six-inning win over Van Wert in Division II sectional finals action at Elida's Ed Sandy Field. [More]

St. Marys child rapist nets at least nine years
A 50-year-old St. Marys man was ordered to serve nine years in prison for one count of rape with more punishment likely to follow at a second sentencing in July.
Top grads to speak at graduation ceremonies
Graduation ceremonies will take place Sunday as 69 Minster High School seniors receive diplomas marking a new chapter in their lives.
The event takes place at 2:30 p.m. in the middle school gymnasium following a 1 p.m. Baccalaureate Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church.

ROSSBURG - Jeff Babcock got a lot of enjoyment from Eldora Speedway's Family Fun Night on Saturday night, making a clean sweep of all the races he ran and collecting trophies for the modified and stock car features.
