Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

K-9 Units from Celina and area law enforcement offices found no drugs or alcohol on school property during a training sweep of two Celina school buildings and parking lots this morning. However, an arrest is pending after a substance was found on a vehicle parked adjacent to school grounds. [More]

Saturday wasn't one of those days.

A 50-year-old St. Marys man was ordered to serve nine years in prison for one count of rape with more punishment likely to follow at a second sentencing in July.
Graduation ceremonies will take place Sunday as 69 Minster High School seniors receive diplomas marking a new chapter in their lives.
