Linda Brummette
Linda Brummette, 76, 10160 Krugh Road, Mendon, died at 10:30 p.m. Feb. 12, 2008, at her home.
She was born Dec. 21, 1931, in Claiborne County, Tenn., to William and Myrtle Johnson Evans. On May 31, 1947, she married Alonzo Brummette, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Kenneth (Camilla), Ohio City, and Paul (Jodi), Van Wert; four daughters, Vicki Roberts, Rockford, Judy (Dave) Highley, St. Marys, Mary (Alan) Miller, Columbus Grove, and Pauline Price, Celina; a sister, Fannie (Milt), Brummitt, Sweetwater, Tenn.; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Howard, Ulis, Esco and Albert Evans; a sister, Ada Evans Smith; a son-in-law, James B. Price; and two grandsons.
She was a homemaker and worked at the Sharp Canning Factory, Rockford, and Maristan Manufacturing, Mendon. She was a member of Mendon United Methodist Church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Charles Eagle officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
